Royal North Shore Hospital Redevelopment
At $750M, this is the largest ever public/private partnership health project undertaken in NSW and will see outdated facilities replaced with a new health campus capable of meeting the needs of the Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service. Two new facilities will be developed on the site including an eleven storey 90,000m2 Acute Hospital Building including 450 beds, 18 operating theatres and a Mental Health Unit and an eight storey Community Health Building. The redevelopment will also include the refurbishment of some of the existing hospital buildings. Full internal hydraulic services including rainwater reuse for WC flushing and irrigation purposes, stormwater, sanitary plumbing, trade waste, grease waste and laboratory drainage, potable cold, hot and warm water and all specialist water supplies including Reverse Osmosis Systems.
