Byron Shire Central Hospital

The Byron Shire Central Hospital development has been undertaken in response to outdated facilities currently available within the district and a projected level of demand which cannot be supported. The scheme includes a new Byron Shire Council sewage pumping system incorporating a pumping station wet well, valve pits and all associated pumping equipment. This is connected to the main council treatment plant with 4.5km of twin rising mains.
