The new Nanoscience Building at University of Sydney has brought together for the first time expertise in Physics, Engineering, chemistry and medical science all working together where researchers and students are devising, fabricating, testing and deploying new nanoscale science and technology that is changing the world.

The building includes very high levels of vibration control and cleanliness required to undertake the study or nano particles.  Several rooms are provided full shielding from EMI which required non-ferrous Fire Services materials and consideration to design to allow ongoing maintenance in an operational building.
