Top Ryde City
Top Ryde City is a large suburban Retail, Commercial and Residential development in Ryde, Sydney. The initial scheme included multiple levels of basement Carparking with Retail over. It included enabling works for the future Residential towers over. The development is protected with a Combined Fire Sprinkler/Hydrant system plus AS1670 smoke detection and EWIS.
Barangaroo South
Barangaroo South retail areas predominantly cover the Ground Floor and podium levels of both Commercial and Residential tower buildings consisting of specialty shops, food tenancies and restaurants. Total retail area is approximately 23,000m2. These areas are provided fire protection via the site wide Combined Fire Sprinkler and Hydrant system supported by Fire Hose Reel coverage, Sound Systems and Intercom Systems for Emergency Purposes, smoke detection and alarm systems where appropriate and Fire Engineered.
Rouse Hill Town Centre
Rouse Hill Town Centre with 73,000m2 of retail area opened in 2007 and changed the face of retail in North Western Sydney. It is designed for the community with over 230 specialty stores. There are four quadrants above a large single storey carparks. Each quadrant contains a major retail store, including Woolworths, Coles, Big W, and Target. The town centre also contains a Cinema, community college, residential apartments and a library. Warren Smith Consulting Engineers worked with Lend Lease, building services and multiple architectural firms to design a fire sprinkler system on a large scale with four major control valve assembly rooms, onsite water storage and pumping facilities. Our scope also included the design and documentation of the fires detection and alarm system, Building Occupant Warning Systems and EWIS where required.
