Blacktown Hospital

Blacktown Hospital is undergoing a staged upgrade.  Stage 1 works included construction of a site wide approach to Hydraulic Services infrastructure, a new mental health facility, minor refurbishment of the existing main building, a multi storey carpark and the new Stage 1 building.  Stage 2 will include an extension of the multi storey carpark and a Stage 2 new building.

The SAN Hospital

The SAN is a not-for-profit, Christian, acute-care hospital, and is the largest private hospital in NSW. Since first opening its doors back in 1903 as a 70 bed Sanitarium.

The biggest redevelopment in the SAN’s history commenced in 2011 and, at a cost of more than $200m, the new and expanded facilities, complementing our existing facilities, will help meet the healthcare needs of our community for decades to come.

Royal North Shore Clinical Services Building

The new Clinical Services Building at Royal North Shore Hospital was a $144M facility as part of the greater Hospital’s redevelopment.

The CSB houses approximately 25,000m2 of clinical services including Mental Health, Severe Burns, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Paediatrics, Maternity, general in-patient accommodation, Women’s and Children Ambulatory Care as well as two dedicated Operating Theatres and associated support areas.  The building’s design features access links at multiple levels (including a service tunnel) to the adjacent Acute Services Building for patients, staff, the public and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV’s).

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment

From 1998 to 2009, the RPAH Redevelopment project located on Missenden Road Camperdown saw a Stage 1 East Campus upgrade and refurbishment of existing buildings, including heritage buildings Albert Pavilion, Admin and Education Building. The Edinburgh building (Block E) was refurbished with a major extension to was is now the Clinical Services Building. Stage 1 also involved the refurbishment King George V Hospital and Joint Replacement & Rehabilitation Unit.

Stage 2A & 2B involved further East Campus work, including the construction a new 4 storey laboratory building and refurbishment of the heritage Victoria Pavilion.

Westmead Redevelopment

In February 2015, the NSW Government announced more than $900 million towards the Westmead Redevelopment which includes $750 million for Stage 1 of the Westmead Hospital redevelopment; $72 million for the precinct car park; and $95 million for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

The Westmead Redevelopment will transform the iconic precinct into a contemporary and integrated centre which will continue to deliver high quality healthcare for decades to come. Creating a more workable, liveable and sustainable precinct and a world-class destination for health, research and education. Stage 1 includes a new hospital building with new operating theatres, more inpatient beds, comprehensive care centres and more parking.
