The Lowy Cancer Research Centre University of NSW
Designed by Lahznimmo Architects, in association with Wilson Architects, the objective was to create a “flexible and evolving research facility” able to adapt to developing research programming. It divides naturally into a formal but flexible “Laboratory Box” and a fluid “human strand” containing write up spaces and areas for collaborative work.
As a research facility, the Lowy Cancer Research Centre is heavily serviced but utilises all possible available technology and is one of the first facilities to be assessed for a 5 star greenstar rating using.
Nanoscience Hub University of Sydney
The new Nanoscience Building at University of Sydney has brought together for the first time expertise in Physics, Engineering, chemistry and medical science all working together where researchers and students are devising, fabricating, testing and deploying new nanoscale science and technology that is changing the world.
The building includes very high levels of vibration control and cleanliness required to undertake the study or nano particles.
