In 1981, Warren and Liz Smith, laid the foundation for an engineering business.

As the years passed, the WSce family extended beyond bloodlines, and today, it encompasses over 70 dedicated and skilled individuals.

Amidst our growth, we’ve deliberately preserved the close-knit, familial essence that has always defined us. Many of our team members have stood by us for years, some even decades, imparting their profound expertise to our organisation. Design guidelines

Co-author of Microtunnelling Design Guidelines for Sewers for the Australasian Society for Trenchless Technology (ASTT).

Contributed to the Australian Health Facility Guidelines for the Australasian Health Infrastructure Alliance (AHIA)

Co-authored and chaired the The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Design Guide G.

Made significant contributions to Deakin University’s Water Demand initiative, which analyses potable water supply systems for optimisation.

Industry standards

Lead authors in CIBSE Cold Climates Guide design guides for buildings in extreme cold climates.

Contributed financially to support the proposed changes to AS/NZS3500.1 Water Hygiene Australian Standards.

Contributed to TAC/4/8/9 Fire Sprinkler and Hydrant Systems, to enhance fi re safety standards.
